This flagship TUFF ENUFF event offers a brutal endurance challenge with an almighty permanent assault course. Choose between the 5km or 12km course, and tackle more than 50 obstacles set out over tough terrain, with a bunch of military experts to help you.
Ullswater Epic Lakes Swim
4 Jun 2017 – Cumbria
The first in a series of events that will offer 3.8km of swimming – the official distance for ‘Ironman’ events – through the lakes of Ullswater. If you’re keen for something a little less challenging, plump for the popular ‘Classic Mile’ (1,600m).
AHOY Channel Row Challenge
Various dates – Jun-Jul 2017 – Dover, Kent
Summer time rowing gets serious with the Channel Row Challenge, as rowers set off from Dover Harbour to the International separation buoy Cobart Nord, before heading back. A total of 23 miles and no small challenge, this event is perfect for teams with or without experience. A love for the sea is a bonus.
South Coast Challenge
26 Aug 2017 – Eastbourne, East Sussex
An Ultra Challenge offering incredible scenery, participants can walk, jog or run either 100km, 50km or 23km. Starting in Eastbourne, you’ll head up Beachy head and over the white chalk cliffs, through Seven Sisters Country Park before taking the South Downs Way.
A great way to spend a Saturday.
Calderdale Mountain Bike Marathon
8 Oct 2017 – West Yorkshire
Get stuck in to this 26-mile Mountain Bike Marathon, with no less than 4,000 feet of ascent to tackle; half off-road and the other half on country roads. You’ll bike from Sowerby, through Walshaw, Midgley Moor and Luddenden before heading back to the start line. Kick-off is at 9am, so you should have a pint in your hand by the afternoon.
