Never mind the comfy pants or insane flexibility, there is now even more reason to practice yoga on a regular basis. A new study due to be presented in Dubai found that, by practicing both Indian yoga and aerobic exercise, participants diagnosed with coronary heart disease were able to reduce blood pressure, body mass index and cholesterol levels by almost twice the amount compared with those that did either one or the other. This group also managed to drop weight dramatically, and improve their capacity for exercise, making it easier to keep up the good work. 750 people took part in the study, producing results that could convince anyone to get up and move their body.
