Greenwich Park Race

Stay in shape this winter in the beautiful surroundings of Greenwich Park…

Following the success and popularity of the Greenwich Park Race in last year’s Royal Parks Winter Series – the first race of which this year takes place in November www.royalparksraces.com – the organisers have decided to put on three alternative races in the beautiful surroundings of Greenwich Park.

Starting on December 10, they will be organising three chip-timed 10km runs – consisting of two 5km laps – throughout the winter and either side of Christmas. Each race is UKA Licensed and runners will receive a goody bag and medals after each event. Competitors can also expect marshals, water stations, toilets and a baggage area. All runners are welcomed into a friendly atmosphere where the organisers aim to help people to get fit before and after an indulgent festive period!

You can enter each race for just £16-£18. Alternatively, you can enter all three for £45, and bag yourself a tech t-shirt in the process.

Essex: April – October 2017

An incredible experience offering the chance to walk on the wing of a plane as it zooms through the air at up to 130mph. Strapped in using a five-point harness, your friends and family will be welcomed along to watch you tackle this epic challenge. High resolution cameras will record your flight to show to the world after wards. Dates are available for aerodromes in both Leeds and Essex. Not for the faint-hearted!

White Rose Ultra
November 5 & 6 2016

An Ultra-Marathon event situated in the spectacular surroundings of Colne Valley, Yorkshire. Offering 30-mile, 60-mile or 100-mile routes through Marsden, Scapegoat Hill and PoleMoor – the longest distance having had a 10-mile extension from 2016 – people of all abilities will be able push their limits. Water and feed stations will be found along the way, with time tracking also on offer. One not to be missed this autumn.

Cotswold Way Challenge
1-2 July 2017

An incredibly picturesque run through the beautiful setting of the Cotswolds, having set off from the historical city of Bath. After 100km you’ll find yourself crossing the finish line in Cheltenham, having tackled a few tough hills along the way. There’s a 50km challenge for those less experienced, and a two-day option that offers half the distance on both the Saturday and Sunday. Free meals, rest stops, medals and t-shirts included.

Essex Season Ender
November 20

A perfect end-of-season event that takes cyclists through the stunning scenery of Ilford, overlooking the City of London along the way. Offering 42-mile and 72-mile routes, both multi-terrain with both hills and flats included, riders of all levels will feel both challenged and accomplished one the finish line is reached. Chip timing, snack stops and free products included.
