Vanilla Almond Nut Butter Protein Bars

This recipe requires hardly any baking, and it’s phenomenally easy.

Vanilla AlmondIngredients

1.2 cup almond nut better, 1 tbsp. lemon juice, 1/3 cup coconut oil, 2 tbsp. raw honey, 2/3 cup[s almond milk, 1tsp cinnamon, 1 cup linwood mixed seeds, 1 cup lindwood flax seeds, 1 cup desiccated coconut, 8 chopped apricots, 50g muscle king vanilla whey protein, or sunwarrior raw vegan vanilla protein, 1tbsp pumpkin seeds (for tipping).

Method

Mix together the honey, almond nut butter, almond milk, lemon juice and coconut oil. Microwave for one minute. Mix the cinnamon, mixed seeds, flax seeds, coconut, apricots and vanilla whey in a separate bowl. Place the dry mix into the food processor and blend to chop the apricots. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry mix. Ensure that your mix isn’t too sloppy. It should be quite stiff in consistency. Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Spoon the mix into the tray. Sprinkle on the pumpkin seeds. Freeze for 30 minutes at least. Slice and eat.

Pork Belly

A lovely snack, this is an easy starter or as an alternative to turkey.

Belly PorkIngredients

Belly pork slices, 1 tsp. smoked paprika, ½ tsp. ground cumin, 1 tsp. ground garlic, ½ tsp. ras el hanout, and 1 tsp. turmeric

Method

Mix the spices together in a bowl or pestle and mortar, and when mixed thoroughly, rub into the meats. Leave the spiced meat in the fridge, either over night or for a minimum of four hours. When the meat has stood for long enough, pre-heat the oven to 150 degrees. Cook for 45-50 minutes and check to ensure it is thoroughly cooked

Wild Berry Beetroot

The benefits of beetroot can be underplayed, but mix the taste with some strongly flavoured berries for huge benefits.

Wild Berry BeetrootIngredients

1/2 cup raw beetroot juice, 1/2 cup unsweetened cranberry juice, 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, 1 serving genetic supplements vegan caramel protein

Method

This is very simple. Mix the beetroot juice, cranberry juice and Genetic Supplement caramel protein thoroughly and when smooth, throw in your frozen raspberries, which also act like fruity ice cubes.
