Restaurants Opening in Leeds on the 4th of July (D&D)

The UK Government is relaxing social distancing rules on the 4th of July to enable pubs, restaurants, hairdressers and other outlets in the hospitality sector to welcome customers. A large UK restaurant group: D&D, has announced the opening of its 4 restaurants in Leeds (Crafthouse, Angelica, East 59, Issho) and 13 other restaurants across the UK on the 4th of July.

D&D London is a collection of 43 restaurants featuring a diverse range of styles and cuisines, across London, Leeds, Manchester, Paris and New York. Any D&D London Group restaurant you go to, you can expect high-class table service, food made by the best chefs from carefully selected ingredients and a unique atmosphere to not forget. Each restaurant has its own ambience, which enhances the dining experience by creating a beautiful harmony with the type of cuisine served there. You are guaranteed an evening to remember.

Leeds has a choice of 4 amazing restaurants of the group to offer: Crafthouse, Angelica, East 59 and Issho. We cannot wait to be able to dine at these venues once again and feel their unique characters. Crafthouse

Address: Level 5 Trininty Leeds, Boar Lane, Leeds, LS1 6HW

Crafthouse is a high-class full-service restaurant, offering menus full of seasonal British options and a beautiful view of Leeds. The menu regularly changes, according to the availability of seasonal ingredients. The meat and fish are sourced from local UK producers, and chosen based on precise quality criteria. This allows the kitchen to achieve the best taste and deliver a dining experience to come back for.

Angelica

Address: Level 6 Trininty Leeds, Boar Lane, Leeds, LS1 6HW

Located right in the heart of Leeds, Angelica is a penthouse bar attached to Crafthouse restaurant (see above). The star of Angelica is their beautifully designed bar that offers an extensive selection of cocktails, wines, champaign and spirits of all kinds. The bar has a large list of delicately made signature cocktails by the barmen at Angelica. The bar hosts DJs every Saturday to create the perfect atmosphere for an ideal night. There is also a food menu available, to Crafthouse style. If you are looking for the ideal place to spend your night on a rooftop in the centre of Leeds, Angelica is your place.

East 59

Address: Victoria Gate, 3rd Floor Rooftop, George Street, Leeds, LS2 7AU

Located in Victoria Quarters, this D&D location is a restaurant by day and a Manhattan rooftop bar by night. The menu consists of iconic American-style dishes, showcasing the best of New York’s classic cuisine and flavours, with a choice of grilled options, burgers and salads. The restaurant also offers several all-day brunch options. The drinks menu is again very wide and diverse, offering options to hit the spot for any taste preference. A great dining option to envelop yourself in the New York atmosphere for one evening, without leaving Leeds.

Issho

Address: Victoria Gate, 3rd Floor Rooftop, George Street, Leeds, LS2 7AU

Issho is a Japanese cuisine rooftop bar, with a large menu featuring the classic Japanese items with a contemporary twist. Issho means ‘together’, hence most of the dishes are designed for sharing. Expect to try masterpieces of Japanese cuisine, crafted sushi and watch the chefs create your dish in an open kitchen. Issho also offers a range of Japanese cocktails, spirits and sakes at its beautiful bar. The restaurant completely emerges you into the experience of contemporary Japanese dining.
